IJRDA required to disclose the fact about the disappearance of a journalist in the province of Arbil

The Iraqi Journalists Rights Defending Association is deeply concerned over the fate of Mr. Arsalan Mahmud, executive editor of (Rumal) journal, published in Arbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan. The spokesman of the Associaont Nadhmm Al-Ugaili said that "the office of the Iraqi Association in the province passed information about the disappearance of Arslan, Mahmud in his way to Salaheddin resort since more than two weeks." He added "the received information indicates that Mahmoud is a member of the Democratic Party in Rania". Al- Ugaili confirmed the Association claim to the security authorities and stakeholders in Kurdistan region to take rapid and effective measures to follow up the disappearance of the journalist and reveal the background circumstances, in order to know his fate and to reveal the actors and motives behind the case.
